Writing software….such a mental puzzle

Writing software is like a mental puzzle. A little like wrestling an octopus in your brain. Over the many (many years) you develop ‘octopus wrestling skills’ or a vast problem solving ability. Those skills are not delineated to software development. I found I used them in all areas of my life; running a business, buying or building a house, choosing investments, raising kids, working with different people… if you can solve problems you can move forward.

4me2realize is the culmination of my problem solving skills and life experiences. All the things that we learn along the way, wrapped up into a really neat software package that makes it easy to align your everyday life with an over arching, inspiring life purpose.

Some of the things that have helped me over the years are;
1. Writing in journals
2. Identifying what halts and what helps me
3. Getting clear on my Life Purpose and getting alignment in my everyday life.

Being interested in systems and processes and having developed considerable skill in these areas I wanted something that combined all this in one ‘go anywhere’ system. That’s why I developed 4me2realize AND…. (drum roll)

I could see how other people struggled with this….. goal setting was an onerous task, it was so hard to track everything in conventional systems. People started off with good intentions which just faded away. Life got in the way. It took so much time. It had happened to me too…we needed something that was quick and easy and you could integrate into your daily life. 4me2realize is NOT another job to do, my goal setting, but something people looked forward to, a tool that lead the way for goal GETTING.

You will still have to spend some time getting clarity on your life purpose, (its fun) but once done, 4me2realize guides you along the way.

I sincerely hope that 4me2realize helps millions of people move closer to their dreams, live each day with joy in the knowledge that they are living a life aligned with their God given purpose….

I’m a FAN! Can’t speak highly enough about it, it’s been great for us. Yes of course the change over process was difficult, because people are wary of change, once saleg8 was up and running and they could see it, it became obvious it was going to work well for us. I think it’s a very good upgrade of the old system. We didn’t mind the old system, which we’ve used since 1996. We use both the livestock sale processing and the accounting packages, we like to keep it all in-house.

The processing speed is very fast, virtually instant. The customisation has been very useful, we got all the GL reports customised so we can look at P&L for each of our branches and in a large business, this means we are up to date on critical financial information. We are even looking at the cloud solutions now. The change-over support was wonderful, we did have some frustrations, but now we are finding it great, we just don’t have any problems. You wouldn’t know that the support staff aren’t just around the corner, the remote support is marvellous when we use it, which isn’t much these days, but the girls are very knowledgeable and get right back to you.

Yes there was a lot of work getting it set up, but it was worthwhile, because when we went live, it was pretty smooth. Having Judi at our offices, checking and helping us was a massive help, and knowing we can just ring or Skype her and she will get straight back to us has been marvellous, and made a huge difference to the changeover being much better.
